“OUR SCENE IS EUROPE” TÜRKİYE MEETING
The activities of our Erasmus+ project “Our Scene Is Europe”, which we carry out under the coordination of Romania, were held between 8-12 May 2023.
The events hosted by Karabük-Eskipazar Seyhan Cengiz Turhan Anatolian High School were successfully completed. After the visit of Eskipazar District Directorate of National Education, our guests were welcomed with a welcoming ceremony. Examples of Turkish folk dances were presented. A briefing was given to our guests about the school. After exchanging gifts, the school building was visited. Samples of Turkish dishes were presented. Students participating in the project sang songs in Romanian, Spanish, French and Italian. A video presentation was made introducing Türkiye and Eskipazarı. A presentation was made about the meetings and dissemination activities held within the scope of the project. The most important instrument of Turkish folk music, “bağlama-saz” was introduced. Turkish folk music samples were performed by Turkish musicians.
A 30-hour WEB2 course was organized for our teachers from Romania, Spain, Italy and France.
In this course, our participants developed their knowledge and skills practically on the following subjects:
- “Introducing and Implementing Web2.0 Tools That Students Can Use”
- “Introducing and Implementing File Sharing Applications and Web2.0 Tools”
- “Introducing and Implementing Web2.0 Presentation Preparation Tools”
- Next generation interactive foreign applications in order to improve the 4 basic communication language skills of the foreign language
- Online education applications
At the end of the course, “Participation Certificate” and “Europass Certificate” were given to the participants.
Our participants visited the World Heritage City Safranbolu, Amasra, a charming Black Sea town, and Yedigöller National Park in their free time apart from educational activities. Various museums and cultural centers were visited.
Activities in Turkey have increased intercultural dialogue and tolerance and contributed to building a bridge of friendship between countries.
